OP・EDを担当しているのが歌唱力のある斎賀氏とアニソン作曲に定評のある西岡氏のユニットということでとても良かった。下手に有名なアーティストを起用しても、その作品にあわない曲を提供してきたり、ゲーム作成の予算を喰うだけのケースになりかねないからだ。正に水の旋律2の為の曲だと思えた。 ゲームシステムは、前作でセーブロード時の画面読み込みにかなり時間がかかったのだが、今回はだいぶ解消されてほぼ気にならず、既読スキップや各キャラボイスの有無、バックログを利用してのロード等他の乙女ゲームにはあまり見られないであろう、プレイを快適にする便利なシステムが各種揃っている。ストーリーはほぼ各キャラにトゥルー&グッドルートの二種類用意されグッドルートはやや話の流れが唐突過ぎたが、トゥルールートが各キャラ凄く掘り下げられているので、それを楽しんだ人の為のオマケだと思えばいいのではないだろうか。(涼ルートと設楽&片瀬の掛け合いが気に入った)戦闘は、じゃんけん方式で慣れれば目押し可能。協力技が楽しい。立ち絵・一枚絵については前作に対して多くのユーザーが感じたであろう不満を解消すべくアニメ絵に変更された。本来ならばひだか氏が全て担当すべきだろうが、本職が小説のイラストレーターである為に、ゲームの開発スパンに間に合わないからか。別の人がひだか氏風に作成するより、思い切ってアニメ絵にしたほうがクオリティの統一が出来て良いのではないだろうか。一応エンディングイラストのみひだか氏が作画・着色されている。手が間に合わないという前提であれば個人的には満足いく改善であった。BGMも丁寧に作られた印象だ。残念なのは、主人公を演じた声優が新人であること。かなり棒読みに感じた。全体的に見てかなりの良作だ。

主人公や攻略キャラが一新されてますが、1の続編です。
ストーリーはラノベに近く設定も平均的に良いのですが、
前作同様いささかご都合が入ってて、終盤で解決に向かう時に強くそれを感じます。
好き好きが分かれるかも。

キャラは魅力的でバラエティに富み、フルボイスで楽しめます。
操作もなかなか快適で、声優も単に豪華なだけでなくキャラに合っています。
ただ、スチルが前作と違ってアニメ絵になってしまっているので、
安っぽさは否めません。
新要素の戦闘はルーレットを目押しするだけで盛り上がりに欠け、率直にストーリーを進めるのに邪魔でした。

しかし2最大のネックは、スタート時にいつも主人公が片思いの状態で、
（片思いの相手の、好きな相手が1の主人公）
全般に1主人公贔屓で煩わしい点。
前作との関連付けはいいのですが、主人公含め1の登場キャラがかなり主張しているので、
1にひよらず2単体で勝負して欲しかったと思います。
前作で攻略したキャラとの、その後も見られるのですが本編に食い込んでいるのも惜しいです。

まだ１を未プレイなのもあって、要所に出てきては主人公に切ない思いをさせる前作主人公にあまり良い感情をもてなかったのですが、１からプレイしているとこの部分も楽しめるのでは、と感じました。
曲やイラストも綺麗ですし、キャラの心の傷などの書き込みもしっかりされていて、乙女ゲームとしてだけでなく楽しめました。
ただ最初は文字の多さと、戦闘の面倒さにイライラしてしまったりも・・・・。
戦闘がじゃんけん方式でなく、成長型だともっと良かったですね。
１もプレイしてみたいな、と思える作品です。
