　サディスティック・ミカ・バンドとしては、最後になるアルバム。
　このアルバムでは、詩を手がけていた松山猛がはなれ、高橋幸宏や後藤次利らが詞や曲を手がけています。当然雰囲気も、以前とは全く違う出来上がりとなっていますが、その後ロック界の名プレイヤーとなる先駆けとなるアルバムです。
　「マダマダ産婆」などは、加藤和彦の優しい声にユーモアが感じられて面白い仕上がりとなっています。

　このアルバムは、ひとことで言って暖かい。実質的な「サディスティックス」のデビュー作と言っていいこのアルバムは、才能の突出した「4人」による、「素手の作り出すグルーヴ」の素晴らしさをこれでもかというくらい堪能できる。
　このラスト・アルバムは『黒船』のようなトリッキーな仕掛けはなく、ひとつひとつの楽器を美しく綺麗に収録した素直な音である。使用している楽器もせいぜい新しくてソリーナやアープのシンセなのだが、よく練った音で今聴いても遜色ない。後藤次利のワウ・ベースなんて、今でも珍しいくらいなので聴くと興奮する。幸宏のドラムは既にクリックが走っているんじゃないかと思うくらいスクエアである。驚異だ。そしてこの4人が団子になってグルーヴする。現在では再現できない、アンサンブルである。
　肝心の加藤夫妻は既に離縁状態で、余りここに気が残っていない。ミカに至ってはスタジオでお酒を作って呑んでいたりする（笑）スタジオでも仲がいいんだか悪いんだか、どうにもチグハグな6人だったらしい。その6人を掴まえてこれだけのものを作るクリス・トーマスの手腕も凄いが。
　ちなみに、ロキシー・ミュージックの『サイレン』を聴いて見て欲しい。音質的に違いがないことに驚くに違いない。このアルバムと同時期の作品であり姉妹編である。洋の東西でこんなものを同時に作っていたのである。それがシンクロし交差した、唯一の証拠がこの作品である。
