長年使い慣れたフラッシュディスクランチ（FDR）との比較です。
こちらの方が作りがちょっと複雑で、表ジャケット、背面ジャケット、CD本体、日本版によくある帯用のポケットまで、セパレートされています。
きっちり入れるにはこちらの方がスマートですが、何十枚も一気に作業しようとすると、
かなりの労力です。
また、表ジャケットが数ページに及んだりすると（大抵歌詞カードや解説があります）、セパレートされたスペースに出し入れする際にジャケットを破く危険性もあります。
中途半端な解決策ですが、表ジャケットの１枚目のみ、こちらのケースにつっこむと、
ジャケットの中の解説なども、ケースに装着したまま読むことはできます。

総じて、このケースに移し替えたり、出し入れするのに慎重にできる方にはお勧め、
何十枚も一気に作業の場合は、FDRの緩さに分があると思います。

4.0 out of 5 stars 唯一のチョイス／省スペース効果は抜群, 2008/1/11
おかげで、入りきれずに棚やプレーヤー周りにあふれていた音楽ＣＤが劇的に片づきました。（スペース３分の１）

私のようなクラシック派は（おそらくジャズファンの方も）、ＣＤを持ち歩くわけではないし、一枚、一枚管理したいのと、タイトルやノートも大事なので、ほかのブックタイプのメディアケースではＮＧです。不織布だけのような安価でちゃっちいものなものは論外です。いろいろ検討しましたが、本品は他に選択の余地のないオンリーワンのチョイスでした。

最初は躊躇しましたが、オリジナルを大事にするのはＬＰ時代の心理。ほとんどのＣＤケースは規格品です。タイトルやライナーノートを保存すればいつでももとの通りに復元できます。ここの気持ちの壁を乗り越えればあとは一直線です。

厚みがないので棚に並べると背のタイトルが見えにくくなります。これは、作曲家別のインデックスをつけた仕切り板（東急ハンズで購入）をところどころに入れて工夫しました。

不満はあります。日本版によくある帯にはサイズが２種類あって大きい方が入らない。ＣＤ収納側にはみ出しますが折り目を合わせてごまかしながら入れました。ＣＤ収納部の不織布の端部がむきだしなので、ずれてめくれてしまうこと。美観を損ねてしまう。いずれもコストとの兼ね合いがあるのでしょうが改善してほしい。

すべて入れ替えるには相当の日数がかかりました。産廃（空のケース）もそれこそ山のように出ました。つらい毎日？でしたが、いつの間にか聴かなくなってしまったタイトルを再び聴いてみる気になったり、レパートリーの整理ができるという副産物もありました。

色々なソフトケースを使いましたが、全体的には非常に良い出来です。
メリットはプラケースと同じ様にCD、ジャケ、帯などを分けられることで、
それによって今までと同じ様にCDを開閉できる。FDRと違い、ジャケットが
ケースにはりついてしまうことがない。といったところです。

しかし、まだまだデメリットも多いです。
洋楽の太い帯は収まりきらない、解説書などが分厚いと入りきらない、
CDを収める布の部分の端がよれる（折り曲げるところと位置が一緒なので）などで
端的にいってしまえば全体的にどの部分もあと数mm遊びが足りない印象があります。

是非洋楽向けに少し改良したのを出して欲しいです。
