アンドラ公国出身のペルセフォネのセカンドアルバムです。

前作に比べると、よりプログレッシヴデスの要素が強くなったように感じます。しかしながらメロディの美しさは健在ですので、ファーストが気に入った方なら本作品も必ず気に入ると思います。

ヴォーカルはブラックメタル風のデスヴォイスやグロウル、メランコリックなクリーンヴォイスを場面場面でうまく使い分けています。さらに本作品では女性シンガーがゲストで歌っています。

1曲が20分超、しかもそれが3曲ともなるとメタルファンにはあまり馴染みのない世界だと思います。しかし本作品は中弛みすることなく一気に聴けてしまうと思います。

まさに傑作の名に恥じない名作。お薦めの一枚です。

待ちに待った新譜だ。しかしまさか本編３曲収録で各曲のランニング・タイムが２２分強とは予想だにしなかった。オフィシャル・サイトで聴けたサンプル（Underworld）で否応にも期待は募る半面、中だるみしないだろうかという思いもあった。が、これが全く冗長な感じは感じられなかった。
前作ではメランコリックな面が強調されていたが、今作ではよりプログレッシブな装いを強めている。EMBRACEDがそうであったように、今作ではシンセがかなり活躍している。２２分という時間はプログレッシブ・メタルの世界でも、そう沢山あるわけではないにもかかわらず、スリリングな曲展開、効果的な女声の挿入、デスメタル特有のアグレッシブさを見事な形で融合し緊張感溢れる作品に仕上げた（しかも３曲も）彼らは素晴らしいという以外言いようがない。これがもしLIVEで完全に再現出来たならどんなにか素晴らしいことだろう。

　買う前の感想としてはやはり、３曲７０分？！そう思ったのも束の間、前作同様数字としての曲の長さを感じさせない作品です。今作は、前作にはなかった女性ヴォーカリストが加わり、曲のパターンに広がりがあって、約２３分聴いていても飽きない。個人的には、前作には良く出てきたあのメランコリックな男性のクリーンヴォイスをもっと聴きたかったです。
　しかし、２年で、このような大作を作るこのバンドは、これからの可能性をまだまだ感じます。次作にも大いに期待できます！
