現在21歳のシンガーソングライター。
幼少より歌う事以外にほとんど興味を示さなかったが、自身の声に違和感を感じ出した10代初め、人前で声を出すことを嫌いその反動をピアノにぶつけたことが音楽の始まり。
以降、独学で身につけたピアノで15歳より作曲、日常にある葛藤や自身の考えを綴って作詞を行い独特な感性で楽曲制作を開始。

2005年6月には自主制作盤「友達の詩」発売。
また、2006年2月には岩崎宏美のアルバム「Natural」に楽曲提供。
ソングライティング力はデビュー前にして立証済み。デビュー前の時点での楽曲数は100を越える。

2006年6月28日、21歳の誕生日に「汚れた下着」でデビュー。

何度聴いても、何時聴いても、自然に涙があふれてきます。とても綺麗で切ない唄ですね・・・。

つい先日、TBSの番組で中村中さんの、彼女のこれまでの人生が紹介されていました。
家族でこの番組を見ていたのですが、普段はこういった番組があまり好きではない夫や父も、次第に言葉を交わすことも忘れ、画面に釘付けになってしまいました。

そして、彼女の『友達の詩』を聴きながら、いつの間にかみんな泣いていました....

番組が終わったあとしばらくして、歌嫌いの父が『いい曲だった..』ってつぶやいたのがとても印象的でした。

本当に悲しいです。ただ悲しいだけの詩ではありません。
ただの失恋の詩ではありません。
中村中さんの人間性が好きなのでこれからも応援したいです。

先日、彼女の人生を追ったテレビ番組で彼女を知りました。
彼女の歌は知っていましたが、彼女の人生について、私は何も知りませんでした。

音楽をやっている彼女にとって
こんなことを聴衆のひとりに言われるのは不本意かもしれませんが、
わたしは彼女の歌を聴くにあたって、みなさんに、
どうか彼女の生い立ちやこの歌を作ったときに彼女が立たされていた状況についてよく知っていただきたいと思います。
そうすることで、この歌を聴いて心に響いてくるものがよりいっそう深みを増すと思います。


一人の人間が命を削って生まれた歌。

中村中さんが、長く人々に愛される『歌姫』になることを祈っています。
