今日視聴してみた
ミッシェルのようなギターロックグルーブではなく
ＲＯＳＳＯの様な作りこまれた　男臭い様なロックでもなく
ビートの聴いた上に　イマイの独特のギターが乗っかり
チバユウスケが新しい感じで歌ってると言う感じでしょうか！
ミッシェルのグルーブより　何だかカッコいい感じで
ROSSOより　チバユウスケが何者にもとらわれず
まるで　BLANKEYを辞めてしまった直後の　ベンジーのような
そんな　自由なとても心地の良いロックです
伝わりにくいかと思いますが　オフィッシャルで視聴もできるので
気になる方は　聞いてみて判断してください
私は　単純ですが　カッコいいと思いました
特に1曲目は　斬新です！

チバユウスケ、イマイアキノブ、ヒライハルキ、そしてクハラカズユキの4人からなるバンド、The Birthday。アーティスト写真のチバの笑顔がこのバンドへの期待を膨らましていた。
デビューシングルとしてのインパクトは抜群、「WALL」のような強い口調でがなる「Stupid」。他にゴスペルのような「ハレルヤ」、アルバムに後編が収録予定の物語調の曲「白い蛇と灯台−前編−」など3曲入り。照井さんのベースがないからかROSSOよりタイトな印象がした。音が軽快。
セカンド「KIKI The Pixy」も待ち遠しいし、もうアルバムも決まっている。ROSSOのじっくり練るペースから一転、どうやらチバ、攻撃モードのようだ

チバ＆キュウちゃんってことでだいぶ期待していたんですが…。
ミッシェルのようなガレージを思い浮かべてはいたけど、
やっぱり違うんですね。
普通の新しいロックバンドとして聴くにはいいのかも。
第2期ROSSOが好きな人なら違和感ないのかなー？とも思います。
今後の曲に期待します。
