６年ぶりとなる今作はアコギとkey中心のメロウチューンで占められていて、
ニーナのキュートな歌声とともに、穏やかな時間が流れていく・・・そんなカンジのアルバムです。
その中でも、先行シングルとなった Kiss Me Til It Bleeds は素晴らしい出来です。

アルバム内のいくつかの曲については、http://myspace.com/ninagordon　で聞くことができます。
そのサイトのプロフで Influences に love psychedelico が挙げられていますが、4. Suffragette はまんまデリコ調で
ちょっと笑ってしまいます。

itunesで見るとアルバムの15曲目は　tonight and the rest of my life(acousitic version)
となっていますが、このCDには入っていません。
またブックレットには歌詞が全く載っていないのですが、9/27発売予定の日本盤はどうなんでしょうかね。

あととりあえず次作は、もっとはやく出して欲しいです。
これでまた６年後とか、ありえませんからっ！

内容はかなりポップ色が強くなっている。
ベルーカソルトのイメージがやっと無くなった。と言うかそのころの歌い方とやっと決別できたと言うところか。
今までと違ってさらっと歌っているのであまりボーカル的には特徴もない感じ。
全体的にはまとまっていて可もなく不可もなしと言ったところ。今よりも涼しくなってから聞くとよいと思う。

CD売る為なのだろうが、the time come入れない方がよかったと思う。アルバム用に少しアレンジしているがなんか浮いている。
１３番目というのも後付みたいなイメージがわく。

前作よりかなり時間が経ってしまいましたが、
しっかりメジャーレーベルで戻ってきました！

かなりポップな作風になっており、
シェリル・クロウとかジュエルとか、ラヴ・サイケデリコとか
あの辺り好きな方にはぴったりの一枚になっていると思います。

透明感あるけれど、芯がある感じの歌声が大好きです。
