   ディズニーの大ヒット・アニメ映画『リトル・マーメイド』の続編。人間となった人魚のアリエルは王子エリックと結ばれ、生まれたばかりの娘メロディを連れて海へ出向いて久々に父や仲間たちと再会する。ところがそのとき、魔女アースラの妹モルガナが来襲。以後アリエルは、メロディを守るために彼女を海に近づけないようにする。そして12年後、美しく成長したメロディは、お目付け役のカニのセバスチャンの心配をよそに海でこっそり遊ぶのだが…。
   ヒロインが可愛い黒髪の娘に受継がれてリフレッシュ。また母親になったアリエルはドレス姿で美しく描かれており、前作のファンには嬉しいところ。さすがに前作ほどのスケール感はないものの、アラン・メンケンからダニー・トルーブに代わっての楽曲の数々も楽しく、テンポのよいコミカルな展開も好感の持てるところで、決して二番煎じの域に留まってはいない。（増當竜也）

意外に面白かったです。父・トリトンを分からず屋扱いしていたアリエルが、今度は娘から分からず屋と言われます。うちの娘はそれを妙に面白がっていました。陸好きのアリエルと海好きのメロディーの対比も子供にもわかりやすく、続けて観るとなおよいです。 1は恋愛物風ですが、 2は友情物風で、息子も抵抗なく観れます。

やはりリトル・マーメイドはあくまでもアリエルが主人公でいてほしかった。娘も人魚の夢が子供が生まれてしまってそれてしまいがイヤなようです。
なんとなく残念な作品です。

3が出ると聞いたので、
合わせて2も見てました。

ストーリーは、
どちらかと言えば子ども向きです。
今回の主役は、
アリエルではなく子どものメロディです。
悪役も、
アースラに比べると劣ります。

前作と割り切って見れる方は、
一度鑑賞してみても良いかもしれません。

しかし、
2にも2の良さがあり、
アリエルのメロディーに対する想い、
親になっての気持ちも描かれていて私的には楽しめた作品です。
