2006年で最高の1曲と断言。
泣かせるメロディーにジクジクと心の痛む歌詞。
待ち焦がれていたものはこれだった！
筋肉少女帯復活の序曲として高らかに鳴り響く。

オーケンの詩世界とふーみんのギターの音色…まさに青春時代が蘇ってきます。ファンの方それぞれ違うと思いますが、僕はこのぶつかりあいこそが筋肉少女帯という奇跡を生んだと思います。しかもあの三柴さんが参加していて、ふーみんとバトルしてるところは、夢がひとつ叶ったような気がしました!
筋肉少女帯を聴いていなかった人にもオススメします。こんな音出せるアーティストは日本にこの人達しかいませーん!!

筋肉少女帯の活動休止以来、私は大槻ケンヂ氏の作品から遠ざかっていました。振り返ってみると理由は2つあったように思います。

１つはサウンド的な理由。私は筋少中期から後期にあった横関敦氏や橘高文彦氏の美しいハードロックギターと、大槻氏の危うささえ感じる独特の歌唱、世界観が織りなす混沌が大好きでした。大槻氏がその後活動を移した特撮は、名手三柴理氏を擁したとはいえ、全体のサウンドの方向は何か違っていた様に思えて（しかも、個人的には三柴氏のプレイもハードロック的なサウンドと合わさった方が、魅力が引き出されるような気もしまして）、最初のアルバムを最後にずっと距離を置いていました。

もう１つの理由は大槻氏の詞にあります。筋少の詞を辿っていきますと、筋少とは彼にとって自己セラピーとでも言いましょうか、彼の心の成長と詞がシンクロしているようで、とても生々しいものを含んでいた感じがしたのですが、「サンフランシスコ10Years After」と特撮の「アベルカイン」を聞いて、俗世の中で迷いながらも生きていくという彼の決意、というか区切りを私は見た気がしました。それ以来、彼の作品からは離れていました。

この新譜はそんな私のような人間を再び引きつける要素に満ちた素晴らしい作品になっています。

橘高氏の様式美に三柴氏の美しいピアノが絡み、大槻氏の歌と混ざり合うこの素晴らしさは、筆舌に尽くし難いものがあります。

詞も良いです。大槻氏はサブカルチャーに詳しいことから「そちら側の人間」だと思っている人が多いようですが、彼の著書等を見ると彼には辛辣な面もあり、彼は「そちら側の人間」を全面擁護するような人間ではないように思われますし、この「赤ちゃん人間」にはその部分が表れている気がします。彼のような「どちら側も知っている」人間の声は貴重です。

単発の企画物で終わるにはあまりに勿体ないです。次の作品、心から期待しています。
