楽曲の素晴らしさについては、ほかの人がさんざん書いてくれているとおりです。角松敏生は、間違いなく日本のトップミュージシャンです。私が角松敏生に惚れる最大の理由は、音楽に対する姿勢です。これほどの人を私は他に知りません。目覚めよ日本人！

クレジットに見慣れたT.Aokiが無い・・・。正直このアルバムを聴くまで青木氏の死去の事を知りませんでした。それでラストが”初恋”だったのですね。そう思うと青木氏のベースソロが少し哀しく聞こえるのは僕だけでしょうか？
でも、ミュージシャンの死を弔うのは音楽以外やはりないのでしょう。そう、良い音楽は変わらない、色褪せない。それを再認識したアルバムなのではないでしょうか？
恐らく彼が死ぬ前に製作を開始したものと推測されます。角松敏生本人にしてみればそれにもめげずアルバムを出した・・・。
彼（青木智仁氏）のために・・・。

角松敏生は私にとって最高のアーティストです。
しかし「解凍後」の楽曲に関しては物足りなさばかりが残り、
どうしても古いアルバムを好んで聴いていました。

この「Prayer」というアルバムは、
角松が「自分がいまやりたい音楽はこれなんだ」という声が
非常にわかりやすい形で聞こえてくるようです。
そして、いま、私はその声を素直に受け入れられています。

「Still know nothing at all」「かなし花」「日照雨」
この3曲を聴いてみてください。
これが解凍した理由であり目的だったのだと感じるはずです。

私はこのアルバムを聴いたことで、解凍後のアルバムも
心地よく耳に入るようになりました。
