見た目が可愛いだけでなく，本当に機能的にできています。コルクを抜くときボトルの口に引っかける場所が２箇所あるため，段階的に掛け替えることによりストレス無くスムーズに使用できます。わが家には他にコルク抜きやソムリエナイフが幾つかありますが，これを買って以来，出番が無くなってしまいました。
使っていない時は，クチバシの部分をグラスの縁などに掛けておけば，スマートなインテリアになります。

かわいいものや、デザイン重視の商品は使いづらいと考えがちですが、
これは本当に使いやすい！何万もするソムリエナイフを買わなくてよかった。

デザイン重視で、使いかっては，いかがなものかと思っていましたが、快適にコルクをぬくことがでました。
ナイフの、刃がぎざぎざになっていて、すべりにくくとても外しやすかったです。オウムの胴体の丸みは、手に丁度よくなじんで、かわいいだけでなく、いい感じで、コルクがもち上がって本当に使いやすかった。

ソムリエナイフとして，持ち歩くのには、少し大きい気がしますが、その分楽しめると思います。
