最近のアップデートでゲームディスクが読めないようになったのは知っていたが
まさかWMVやDivXといったメディアディスクすらも読めないとは思わなかった。
これらメディアディスクは本体のドライブであれば問題なく読み取ります。
本体のドライブ寿命を考えてゲーム以外はHD DVDドライブで読ませようと考えていただけに
これは大きな誤算でした。何故、こんな意味不明な制限をかけるのか理解に苦しみます。

Xbox360に接続することでHD-DVDが観れる周辺機器なのだが…

いかんせんブルーレイとの戦いに敗れてしまい活躍の場を奪われてしまいました…

とは言え、同根のリモコンは単品で約3000円。

このHD-DVDプレイヤーは4980円ほどで投げ売りされてるんでリモコン付きなら安いかなーと買うのもアリかと思います。

なんとなく箱○の周りが華やかになるじゃないですかｗ

とは言え、今後対応ソフトが出る可能性はほぼなく、既発のソフトも正直微妙〈個人的に〉と言うことで実際はただのDVDプレイヤーにしかなりえません。

しかし箱○本体が単体でDVD再生可能と言うことで活躍の場はさらに減ります。

結論→コレクターとかモノ好き以外には別にいらん。

X-BOX360の周辺機器でありますが、低価格でのリリースが好印象。
付加価値として、ある方法でWindowsPCに接続する事も出来たりします。
低価格のPC外付けHD-DVDドライブになるわけですね。
これは買いでしょう。
