ジウ姫主演のメロドラマです。

入院した病院にチン・ヒギョンさんがいたり、時代劇のエキストラに担ぎ出されたり、
相合傘のシーンは「私にも妻がいたらいいのに」を思い出させます。
他にも、何処かで観たようなシーンが頻出します。
韓流マーケティングのリサーチ結果が生かされているようです。
そのせいか、新鮮味には乏しい映画でした。
日本メーカーの協賛もあったらしく、ジウさんは否定しましたが、
本国よりむしろ我が国の市場を意識した作品だと思います。

シン・スンフンさんの主題歌は良かったです。

プレイボーイのミンスが恋に落ちた女性は難病で余命少ないへウォンだった。
へウォンと出会い真実の愛に目覚めるミンスだが
運命は過酷なものだった。

相変わらずジウ姫泣きます。
涙の女王のショウゴウは誰にも渡さないっ！ってほどの意気込みです。
内容自体は韓国映画によくあるパターンで
やっぱり片っ方が死んでしまうメロドラマ。
出会いのパターンからもうまったく韓国映画。
そんな偶然、まぁあるかもしれないけどさ、
展開も何本も韓国映画を見てくると分かっちゃうんだけど、
でもやっぱりはまるんですわ。
ジウ姫でなかったら観ないんだろうけどな。

しかし、意外な話しの展開もあり、ただその展開をもっと活かして欲しかった。
連理の枝と言うタイトルなんだから、
二人が連理の枝になるような結末で持って言って欲しかったな。
そういう伏線のつもりだったと思うんだけどな。
ミンスのあの事実は･･･。

チョ･ハンソンがどうしても志村けんに見えてしまうのね･･。

悪くはないんだけれど、期待が大きかっただけに、そんなものかな・・に終わってしまった感があります。看護士ではなく患者だとわかったのになぜか病名を聞かないし、医師と看護士のコミカルな味付けや、親友が時代劇に出演するシーンは余分だと感じたし、娘が病気なのに父親が離れて住んでいるのは疑問に感じたし、ミンスにも訪れる不幸はもっと劇的に描いて欲しかったと思う。でも連理の枝の前で彼女から受け取るメッセージには泣けて、やっぱりチェ・ジウだな、と思いました。
