バージンとくらべ、香りがマイルド。
乳液やクリームを作るためのものなのでしょうが、めんどくさがりで超敏感肌のおいらは、そのままリップクリームや手、ひじや膝に伸ばして塗ってます。
お風呂上りの肌がしっとりしているところに塗ると、はじめは白いバター状なのが、体温で溶けてすっとなじみます。乾燥肌のためか、べたつきよりもしっとり感の方がつよし。
ビーワックスのてかりもなく、価格的にも手軽なため、重宝。

本来は日焼け止め的な使いかたをするのだそうですが、流石に日中顔に塗ったことはないので、油焼けがあるかどうかは不明。

気温によって硬さが変わります。25℃前後の室温で袋の外からさわると、柔らかめの粘土のような手触りです。
実際はカッテージチーズのようにポロポロした状態で大小のかたまりとなっていますので、できれば何か容器に入れたほうが使い勝手がいいと思います。袋から直接出して使うとなると、小さなかたまりがポロッとこぼれてしまう可能性がありますので。容器に入れてちょっと押さえれば、こぼれる事はありません。
気になるような匂いはほとんどありません。両手の平でよくのばしてから、乾燥が気になる部分に塗りこむとシットリします。ベタつきはありません。きっと浸透性がいいのだろうと考えています。
きれいな入れ物に入れられて季節や気温の変化に関係なくいつでも同じ状態で使用できる一般の商品と比べると、なんとも「原材料」的な印象がありますが、それだけ混ざり物がなく自然に近いのではないかという気がしています。少量ですみ、肌にやさしく、ベタベタせずに匂いもない････快適に使っています。

イヤな香りもしないし、かえって実用的でいいです。少ない量でも本当にしっとりしていい感じですね。
普段は、少し柔らかくしてクリームのケースに入れて携帯してますが、別の容器には、好きな精油を1滴たらして練り香水みたいな使い方もしています。
あと、ハンドクリームみたいにベタつかないし、手を洗ってもまだしっとりしているくらいですので、かなり重宝してます。
