７０年代のニューソウルとかファンクを、Beck的な編集感覚で再構築した作品という感じがします。最近のＵＳヒップホップやＲ＆Ｂが苦手な人でも聴きやすいと思いますし、Beckみたいな感じのジャンクなオルタナティブロックが好きな人にもいいと思います。
全体的にヴォーカルのソウルフルな歌唱力にぐっときますね。トラックはわりとスペイシーでサイケな雰囲気があって、遊び心満載な感じなんですが、歌は７０年代のソウルシンガーと言ってもいいくらい本物に聴こえます。いや多分本物なんでしょう。『CRAZY』を聴けば、それは十分伝わると思います。
この手のブラックミュージックは日本ではなかなか売れないのかもしれませんが、この作品に関して言えばもっと一般的な層に受け入れられるだけのポピュラリティがあると思うんですよね。なので、まずは『CRAZY』を聴いてみていいと思った方は、ぜひアルバムを買って聴いてみて欲しい１枚です。

私みたいに、｢ｸﾚｲｼﾞｰ｣の70`sｿｳﾙ&ﾌｧﾝｸﾃｲｽﾄな
ﾒﾛﾃﾞｨｰ満載だと思って買っちゃうと後悔するかも。
たしかにｿｳﾙ&ﾌｧﾝｸﾃｲｽﾄなんだけど、ソレ以上に
ｺﾞｽﾍﾟﾙでｻｲｹでﾋｯﾌﾟﾎｯﾌﾟなオルタナ。
｢ｸﾚｲｼﾞｰ｣みたいなメロディアスな
シンプル（？）な曲はコレだけですよ〜。
さすがはゴリラズ「ﾃﾞｨｰﾓﾝ･ﾃﾞｨｽﾞ｣のﾌﾟﾛﾃﾞｭｰｻｰ!
｢ｶﾞﾁｶﾞﾁ｣な作りこみです。（ｗ

おいおい、久々にこんな凄いの来たねえ！！

CRAZYが、仲間内でも大変にうけが良く、ファンク好きにはたまらない一品ですよ。

曲自体はランク王国でもかかってるから、アレ見てる人なら「あ〜！」って話になりそう。

凄く丁寧な作りの、夏向けの一品です。
