10歳までの幼少時代をブラジルで過ごし、15歳からギターを弾きながら歌い始める。 1989年デビュー。ナチュラルな歌声、リズミカルなギター、チャーミングな笑顔で瞬く間にボサノヴァを日本中に広める。ボサノヴァの神様アントニオ・カルロス・ジョビンや、ジャズ・サンバの巨匠、ジョアン・ドナード等の著名なアーティストとの共演や、ニューヨークやブラジル、アジアなどで海外公演を行い成功を収める。1999年アルバム「ドリーム」が20万枚を越えるヒットを記録。 以降、ボサノヴァで日本におけるボサノヴァの第一人者としての地位を不動のものとしている

ワン・フレーズ聴いただけで誰が歌っているかが分かる歌手がいます。美空ひばりしかり、北島三郎しかり。そして小野リサも、何を歌っても小野リサ、だということを感じました。

ボサ・ノヴァとアメリカン・トラデショナル・ソングの組み合わせは、と危惧しましたが、どの曲を聴いても「小野リサ」ワールドを満喫出来ました。

「Jambalaya」や「Take Me Home Country Roads」「Stay All Night」のようなカントリー・ミュージックでも、ウィスパー・ヴォイスは健在で、楽しい世界が広がります。英語の歌なのですが、ポルトガル語のように聞こえるのもまた「小野リサ」なのでしょう。

アコースティック・ギターの伴奏にのせて歌われる「Gentle On My Miｎd」が好きでした。この春風のような爽やかさは他のヴォーカルでは聴けないでしょうね。
「Danny Boy」も軽やかですね。情感はあるのですが、それを昇華したかのような自然体のヴォーカルがまたステキです。
懐かしい「ファシネーション（魅惑のワルツ）」もいいですね。ポルトガル語の方が伸び伸びとして聞こえるのは気のせいでしょうか。どんな曲でも自分のスタイルに出来るのは彼女の個性の一つでしょう。

それにしても歌の上手いミュージシャンですね。ボサ・ノヴァのミューズと言われたナラ・レオンやアストラッド・ジルベルトよりも雰囲気があります。「ボサ・ノヴァの歌姫」ともいうべき小野リサの魅力を感じ取ってください。

小野リサがここ数年ＣＤで世界を旅させてくれている。ヨーロッパ、ハワイ、アフリカまで回った後に、アメリカ大陸へやってきた。ラテン３部作に引き続き、ようやく北米へ。日本人が色んな意味で一番馴染んでおり身近なのがアメリカ文化であり、アメリカから発信される音楽であろう。小野リサがここをこの順番に持ってきたのは、私達にとって余りに身近だったからではないかと思う。ありそうでなかったアメリカンフォーク、トラディッショナルのボッサ。耳馴染み良くス〜ッと心に入ってくる。最高に心地良いサウンドではないか♪♪これから暑くなる日本の蒸し暑さを、木陰の風を感じられるような涼しげな夏に変えてくれる一枚になること間違いなしである。17曲の繋がりも良くストーリーを感じさせる。一枚聴き終えると短編集一冊を読み終えたような気分にさえなっている。じっくり聴くも良し、何かをしながら聞き流すも良し、夏のドライブにも最適な一枚である。

このアルバムは、最近よく車の中で聴いています。

１曲目のイントロが涼しげで、心に気持ちのいい風が吹き抜けます。
リサさんの優しい歌声は、まるで子守唄のようです。
聞き取りやすくはっきりした英語の発音も、とてもすてきです。

このアルバムの中に、「Ｔａｋｅ　Ｍｅ　Ｈｏｍｅ　Ｃｏｕｎｔｒｙ　Ｒｏａｄｓ」が入っていますが、
私の一番のお気に入りです。

とてもいいアルバムだと思います。
