　きよしくんのファンである、70代の母の誕生日プレゼントに購入しました。
本アルバムでは、3月発売の「一剣」関連に加えて「裏町人生(S12)」「お富さん(S29)」「刃傷松の廊下(S36)」など昭和の名曲に「柿の木坂の家(S32)」「丘を越えて(S6)」など船村徹&古賀政男メロディを交える形で構成されています。DVDは「一剣」一曲で収録時間は5分40秒です。
　それにしても、自分のように普段は演歌に疎い人間でも、彼の歌声だけは心の琴線に触れるのは何故でしょうか。華奢なルックスからは想像できない、圧倒的な歌唱力や、老若男女から愛される、気さくで実直な人柄もあるでしょう。自分は「一剣」のテーマと同じ、鍛え抜かれた純粋無垢な剣士だけが持つ、決して押し付けがましくない凄みと輝きを、彼の歌声から誰もが平等に感じ取っているからでは、と気付きました。
　母は近所のスーパーの小さな御立ち台で、彼が「箱根八里の半次郎」を熱唱して以来のファンです。「細い子やなあ」と心配する母の前で、全く無名の新人だった彼が歌い始めた途端、買い物帰りで騒がしい「大阪のおばちゃん」たちも皆が平等に静まり返ったそうです。その後も大変な努力で才能を開花させている彼が、いつまでも天狗にならず弱音も吐かないのも、彼自身さえ気付かない、そんな凄みと輝きのおかげかも知れません。
　付属のミニ写真集は本アルバムとは関係ないようで、凛々しい着物姿はありません。笑顔の写真もなく渋くキメています。

いままでのきよしくんの作品では初めてのＤＶＤつきの
「初回限定アルバム」
かなり前のコンサートから「いいものができました！」と
報告してくれていただけあって、選曲・歌唱から添付のお楽しみ
写真集まで気合充分の出来上がりでした。
一年前の「演歌名曲コレクション５」の明るいイメージとは
また違った味わいの、ちょっと渋さが加わった造りに、
デビューから７年、常にトップを駆け抜けてきたきよしくんの
自信も見えてきます。
若木が大地にしっかりと根付いたような、骨太なアルバムで
女性シリーズをいったん休憩したことで、等身大の凛々しい青年像が
浮かび上がり、「青龍」「白虎」に続く「朱雀」がより輝いて
聴こえてきます。
ＤＶＤもピクチャーレーベルで、もうそれだけでも嬉しいですね。
歌に、映像に、写真に、なんともいえないオトコの色気も感じます。
ファン大満足の一枚といえるでしょう。
今年後半、このアルバムで雄雄しく羽ばたいて欲しいと思います。

何を歌ってもうまい、のはよーくわかりました。
でもこの選曲。
きよしくんのファン層は90歳以上なの？？
60代の人でも知らない曲でしょうに。。
彼の歌唱力で歌って欲しい歌はまだまだ沢山あるのに、もったいないなあ。
次は次はと思っている私は、変なファンでしょうか？
オリジナルも、何でも歌える貴重な素材なのに、カラーを決めないで欲しいな
