【アーティストについて】
2004年6月に「Level 42」でメジャーデビュー。同年12月にリリースした1stアルバム「KAELA」がチャート初登場8位を記録し、大きな注目を集める。翌2005年3月にリリースされたシングル「リルラ リルハ」がチャート3位を記録し、一躍全国的な認知を獲得。夏にはsummer sonicをはじめ、フェス、イベントに多数出演。その後初主演映画「カスタムメイド10.30」が公開されるなど、多彩振りを発揮。今年3月に発売された2ndアルバム「Circle」ではチャート2位を記録。

『Level42』を思い出させる様な聴く人を励ます様な前向きな歌詞と、印象的な爽快なメロディ。一度聴いてしまったらサビが簡単に頭の中から離れないんですよ(笑)
気が付いたら、ついつい何度もMDのリピートボタンを押して聴いてしまったり、サビを口ずさんだりしてしまう自分がいます。

今までいろいろなタイプの曲を世に出してきた彼女ですが、この作品はまさしくカエラの『原点』と言っても過言ではないハズ。
どんなタイプの曲もすんなり歌いこなしてしまう才能を持つ彼女。しかしこの曲を聴いてから『これが木村カエラの本当のあるべき姿なんじゃないのかな』と思ったり。

爽快なギターサウンドが魅力的で、まるでシャボンがパチンと弾ける様な心地の良い刺激と活気さを持ったこの曲。こういった『元気らしさ』を全面に出した曲がカエラちゃんにはピッタリですね。

元気が欲しいな、ちょっとした励ましが欲しいな、と思っている方には特にオススメいたします!!

私は、テレビ神奈川の『サクサク』を2001年の秋ぐらいからずっと見ている。従って、なにしろ、木村カエラが初めてテレビに出た日も見ていた。さすがに『セヴンティーン』は読んでいなかったが。
それ以降の彼女のブレイクぶりは周知の通りだ。私はロック・ファンだったから、彼女の圧倒的な声量には驚かされた。ただ、あそこまでの急速な人気というのは予想していなかった。
こちらは中年なので後からだんだんわかってきたのだが、まず、パンクなどを中心に、今の若い世代の間では、ロックというのが新たな形で捉えられている。特に、ファッションとのリンクが大きい。今や「ロック」というのは、一部では最早ファッション用語だ。そういう意味では、木村カエラというのはまさに待ち望まれた存在だったのだ。一部雑誌などでの扱われ方を見ているとそれがよくわかる。
本作は彼女の六枚目のシングルで、プロデュースは會田茂一。ハードなロックでありながら、ポップでもあり、ちゃんと日本でヒットする枠内に収まっている。今、こういうことができる日本人の女性シンガーは、確かにパフィーと木村カエラぐらいだろう。第二、第三の木村カエラを作りたいという人は業界にはきっと多いだろうけど、それは大変難しいはずだ。

天性のメロディ・メイカー【ライナス】（「ポール・ギルバート」等のプロデュースもこなす）の作曲ということで、
とても聴きやすいです。

ノリやすいリズム、分かりやすい歌詞、ほどよいギターサウンド。

ライヴやカラオケでは間違いなく盛り上がる曲でしょう。
（女の子に歌ってほしい曲ですが、男の自分も自然と口ずさんでしまっています。）
「これぞギターポップ」というカンジで、英語歌詞にすれば海外でもヒットしそうなぐらい、万人にウケるサウンドです。

もう一度聴いたらサビがアタマから離れません。
