原作を読んだ事のある人は、あっさりミアとマイケルが別れてしまっている事に驚くと思います。完全にオリジナルストーリーです。
ジェノビアの皇位継承には、結婚が必須条件であった。ミアは30日以内に結婚しなければいけなくなる。しかも皇位継承を狙う陰謀が…!

相変わらず失敗ばかりするミアだけれども、前作より感情豊かによく話します。プリンセスとして考え行動するミアはとても素敵です。当然のハッピーエンドですが幸せな気分になります。ジュリー・アンドリュースが歌うシーンもあってとても楽しいです。

ディズニースタジオのドリーミングでちょっとコミカルな作品、アン・ハサウェイが主演するプリティ・プリンセスシリーズの第2弾です。
アン・ハサウェイは、まるで白雪姫のような美貌であり、プリンセスを演じるこの作品にはもっともピッタリきています。
それでいて、ちょっとしたズッコケがその容姿とミスマッチなところなのですが、彼女の愛嬌を感じるいい持ち味となり、ほのぼのとした笑いに包まれてしまいます。
ストーリーについては、概ねがお決まりのコースであり、冒頭からある程度流れの予想がつきますが、それでいても決してその期待を裏切らない落としどころに安心感があり納得できるものです。
架空の王国ジェノヴィアの舞台を伝統があり美しくのどかな雰囲気をワクワクときめくドリーミングなイメージで作り上げており、これがこの作品の演出効果を一層高めています。

　プリンセスが王国に帰ってみれば、やはりすんなりあっさり女王様という訳にはいかず、王位を狙う陰謀あり。プリンセスは３０日以内に結婚をしなければ、王位は継げない！？


　「物語その２」は、時として期待を裏切る事があるので、危ぶみながらみました。

　　３０日以内に結婚しなければ女王になれないという設定が最初から漫画チックでしたが、プリンスの女王としての自覚の芽生えと、若い女の子としての淡い恋心とを比較的巧くあつかってハッピーエンドになるようにまとめて解決してみせたかなと思います。
何せ小さな王国内の出来事、極めて人間味溢れていて、庶民にも納得出来る展開でした。

　私的には、「女王様」の歌声も聴けて、豪華なおまけをもらった気分です。
　
　是非、１−２併せて見てみてください。
