70年代初期から、頭脳警察や四人囃子とともに精力的なライヴ活動を展開し、「日本語のロック」派の重要な一翼を担った安全バンドだが、不幸にしてかつてリリースされた2枚のアルバムは、彼らの真の魅力を十全に伝えるものではなかった。しかし今回、彼らをサポートし続けた伝説の企画集団、ウラワ・ロックンロール・センターの元に残された大量の高音質テープ群から厳選し、その全盛期の姿の復刻が初のライヴ・アルバムとして実現。ROLLYやシャケがカヴァーした日本語ハードロックの古典「けだるい」、大槻ケンヂがカヴァーしたポップな名曲「13階の女」、さらにファンク・アレンジの「怒りをこめて」からプログレ風味の未発表大作「夜(The Night)」など、既発のスタジオ盤を遥かに凌駕するそのテンション、熱気!この音源を聴かずして「日本のロック」の歴史は語れない。坂下秀実(四人囃子)を迎えたツイン・キーボード編成時の激レア音源も含む、超充実の12曲、74分。
