ドラクエ5の主人公はシリーズ中唯一、勇者ではない主人公です。
勇者ではない彼がどのようにして世界を救うのか。その理由は何か。
ドラクエシリーズは可愛らしいグラフィックとは裏腹にシリアスなストーリーが魅力なのですが、
５はその中でも一番奥が深いと思います。
普通の子供であったはずの主人公がたどる数奇な人生。
プレイしていない人はぜひとも彼の人生をプレイして欲しいです。

それはそれとして、とりあえずメタルスライム狩りに夢中になります。
メタルスライムが仲間に入ったあの感動！グレイトドラゴンの雄姿！
やっぱり強いピエール！馬車要員として欠かせないベホマン！
本当にいつまでも遊べます。ゲームの面白さを改めて気付かせてくれる良いゲームです。

私が初めてＳＦＣソフトでプレイしたのが、このＤＱ５でした。
そして未だに好きなゲームＮｏ．１です。

ＳＦＣ版をプレイした当時はまだまだ子供でしたが、
本当に大好きで何度もプレイしたのを覚えています。
ただＳＦＣソフト・・・とてもセーブが消えやすくて、
せっかくレベルを上げても
次の日にはデータが消えた、なんて事がままあって
泣かせられるゲームでもありました。

だけどＰＳ２でのリメイク！
これでもう昔の様にデータが消えて泣く事もない(笑)！
ポリゴンになっても頭身の低い愛くるしいキャラクターにほっとします。
美しくなったグラフィックや音楽に増えた仲間モンスター、仲間同士での会話、
新しいシステムのどれもとても素敵になって帰って来てくれました。
ＳＦＣではいまいち影の薄かった女の子も色々喋ってくれる様になって、
とても嬉しかったです。
色がとても微妙だったフローラの子供達も、すっかり綺麗な色になっていましたし。

会話が面白くて町の人１人と話す度、ダンジョンでマップを切り替える度に
いちいち話しかけては仲間の反応を見て楽しんでいました。
全部のキャラクターの全部のセリフを見てみたいとも思うんですが、
どうしても・・・どうしても結婚相手にフローラを選べません＾＾；
ファンサイト等を見るとなかなかの天然ぶりを発揮して面白そうなのですが
やっぱり私はビアンカしか選べないー＾＾；

モンスターを仲間に出来るDQとして非常に有名なのがDQ５ですが、このリメイクでは仲間に出来るモンスターが更に増えました。メタルスライムも仲間にできます。シナリオは原作に忠実。そして何よりBGMがフルオーケストラ。DSでもリメイクは出るらしいのですが、これはDSの音源ではとても味わえないでしょう。パパスのテーマソングといえる哀愁物語の出来が凄まじいです（なんとヘッドフォンで聞くと演奏者の息遣いも聴こえます　笑）余りにも戦闘のテンポが良い為、昔SFCでやった時よりもレベルが上がりやすく感じ、難易度が下がった印象を受ける人も多いでしょう。ボスが実際にSFCよりもやや弱くなっているのも少し残念な所です。しかし、モンスターを仲間にしながら純粋にストーリーを味わえるDQ５の楽しさは変わっておらず、万人にお勧めできるRPGです。
