姉妹ソフトの大学受験むけのターゲット1900は微妙といわざるえなかったが、こちらはそうともいえないようである。

公立に通っている世間一般の中学生はどうしても受験勉強というものには疎いものだ。仕方ない。
それをゲームソフトに入れてみました、というだけで弟は食い付いて沢山やりこんでくれた。
大の苦手だった英語が語彙力ができてきて自信がついてきたようです。成績が上がるかどうかはまだ先の長い目が必要でしょうが。
こういう場合、ソフトとしての微妙な出来栄えよりも、効果を見るべきだなと思いました。

　英語はまず単語がわからなければ手も足もでないです。

　子どもは公立中の2年ですが、自分が公立中学生だったときに比べて「何コレ？」レベルの
カンタンな教科書を勉強していて、おそろしく語彙も足らない。筆記体も習ってなく、英文
法も私の頃に比べ半年以上遅れています。慌てて単語帳を買いました
が、全然やらない。

　「英語漬け」にはハマっていたのですが、基本語彙も入っていないのだから先に進めるわ
けがありません。それでこのソフトを買いました。

　他のレビュアーの方がコメントされてる通り、ゲームではなく電子単語帳に近いです。
が、生まれたときからテレビゲームやパソコンがあった現代の中学生には、昔のひたすら
単語帳を覚えるアナログな勉強法は苦行なだけ。

　「英語漬け進みたかったらこのソフトに入ってる単語は全部覚えないと無理」と言ったら、
「つまらない」といいながらもきちんと毎日やっています。

　単語帳を全然見ないお子さんに試してみる価値あり…で、全体的な評価を★５つにしました。

タッチペンを使ったディクテーションソフト。
「聴いて覚える＋書いて覚える」というのは、今までのコントローラーに頼っていたゲームでは無理。
「英語漬け」のようなウィットにシャレはない。
学習ソフトとして、以前ターゲットを使って受験勉強していたことを考えると、発音が同時にわかるのはありがたいと思った。
タッチペンの感度がよく、単語認識はスムーズ。
一方おまけのゲームは、おまけ程度。
難易度が低く、すぐクリアできる。
