前回の幸宏氏の再発に「薔薇色の明日」が含まれていないことに納得のいかなかった方は多かったはずだ。かくいう私もその一人である。
洋楽と聞き違えるようなサウンドセンスがちりばめられて、それが散開間近のＹＭＯと対極をなしており、当時のＹＭＯ現象を垣間見ることができる。
「ｒｉｐｐｌｅ」から「Ｔｈｅ　Ａｐｒｉｌ　Ｆｏｏｌ」までが一冊の小説のような物語性を持つアルバムである。２１世紀の現在でもまったく色褪せていないポップアルバムである。

手持ちのALCA-363と比較してみましたが、音の輪郭が明確になり、音質の改善は明らかです。
YEN BOXに収録された盤を含め、これまでの盤を持っている人は、買い直しても損はないと思います。

昔は熱烈なYMO Fan(マニア)でしたが、今ではそれ程でも無くなりました。
しかし好きなArtistで有るのは変わり無く、偶然今回の幸宏サンの再発を
知って、このAlbumだけはもう一度聴きたいと素直に思いました。

それはSynthsizerを使った無機質で高度な音楽理論で構築されたSound
ではなく、このAlbumでの実験の「日本語で唄う」ことで伝わってくるもの、
歌詞が分かる事で「心に残る」ものが有ったのでは？と思い出したからです。

ひょっとしてアナログ盤の時代に聴いて美化した思い出かもと恐さ半分ながら
ウン十年ぶりにこのAlbumを聴き直しましたが、やはり単なるノスタルジーで
無く、今もこのAlbumに息づいているのが感じられました。

それは…「せつない」という感覚。どの曲にも何処か「せつない」という想いが
込められていて、それが時には甘酸っぱく、時にはとても優しく、米国という
よりは欧州の映画に有るような大人の雰囲気がするのです。

時を越えた良いメロディと詩。日本が生んだ本物の名盤の一枚と思います。
