まず一言、残念です。同作エピソード1はゲームとしては苦痛に感じるところが多少なりありましたが、それを補い有り余る魅力がありました。高橋氏の脚本、演出の上手さ、壮大で感動を呼ぶ音楽。ゲームでこんなによくできたストーリーに触れられたことに喜び、エンディングまでいった時は鳥肌がたちました。続編を心待ちにしました。が、しかし待ちに待った続編は期待ハズレの出来でした。高橋氏による脚本ではない深みのない台詞、中途半端な演出、なぜこれでゴーサインを出したのか疑問でしたし残念でなりませんでした。そして今作、不安でいっぱいでしたが最後を見届けたかったのでプレイ。…30分で不安的中。浅い台詞につまらない演出、変わり果てたキャラクター、無念です。レビューというより、願望ですが 次世代機なんでもかまわないのでゼノサーガが高橋氏による脚本、エピソード1のスタッフで開発され、真に完結される事を祈っています。

ゼノサーガの3部作の最後なんですが
主人公であるシオンの心理描写が尺の都合で足りず
急激な変化を遂げるためプレイヤーがかなり置いてけぼりになります。
主人公の葛藤などの描写は3部作作品の多くは2作目に入れるものなんですが
この作品はＥＰ２で外伝みたいなストーリーを主体にしてしまっているので
全く駄目でした。
ＤＳでゼノサーガＥＰ３が出るのを楽しみに待ちたいと思います。

６年近い月日を費やしてこのシリーズは完結する。
壮大な世界観にシナリオ等ゲームではあるけれどゲームとは一線を画した内容に魅せられた人も多い。
エピソード２が悲惨な結果だった為、次回作に大きな不安を残すこととなった。
満を持して売り出されたエピ３に対して抱く想いは人其々だが、もしゼノギアスやゼノサーガ１の様な
世界観、シナリオを期待しているのだとしたら今作には決して手を出してはいけない。
忘れないで頂きたいのは製作スタッフが総入れ替えとなった為、エピ１とは似ても似つかないエピ２が出来上がってしまった事だ。
エピ２に関わったスタッフが作ったエピ３なのだから、当然仕様もエピ１ではなくエピ２に近くなる。
前作の失敗が骨身に沁みたのか、改善の後が見られる造りではあるものの反省点は何ひとつ活かされていない。
何故Ｇ２キャンペーン（度を越したおまけ）は不評だったのか、何故映像（カメラワークや演出）に対する文句が多かったのか、
何故音楽が世界観に合わないと批判されたのか。何故脚本、台詞が叩かれたのか。
これらの問題を深く受け止め取り組んだ人がいなかったとは考えられないし、考えたくも無い。

しかしながら、そんな人は存在しなかったと痛感せざるを得ない作品だった。
特にエンディングは次回作に逃げているとしか言えない位酷い。
スタッフはこのシリーズをとっとと終わりにしたかったというのはよく伝わった。
