このアルバム…というかロスプロに初めて出会ったのは、とあるCD屋で買い物をしていたら
店内から何かやたらカッコいい曲が聴こえてきた。　流れる曲の良さに買い物する手も止まり
すぐさま店員に「今掛けてるの誰ですか？」と質問し、提示されたのがこのアルバムだった。

バンド名ぐらいしか知らなかったのだが、思わず衝動買いしてしまった…しかしこのアルバムは本当に強力ですよ！
1曲目のEveryday CombatとRooftopで撃沈。　てか、捨て曲なし！
買った勢いで、何となくライブまで参加してしまったが、メロディーセンスも抜群だしルックス(Voは)も良しだし、若手の中では随一の期待が持てる新人ではないか…

ライブとか行って意外だったのは、俺みたいなHR/HMなファン層があまり居ないことだった。
割とリンキン寄りなのか…とにかく沢山の人にお勧めしたいアーティストでありアルバムであることには間違いはないですね。
4枚目も楽しみです。

全体的に曲調がポップになりました。正直、２ndの疾走感やメロディの絶妙な起伏は感じられません…。２ndの流れを期待してた人はもしかしたらガッカリするかもしれないです。中にはとてもPopな曲もあって何度か「アレ？」と思わされました。それでもやはりそこはLostprophets。下手な先入観無しで聴けば十分に買うに値する出来だと思います。個人的にはI Don't KnowやWake Up(Make a Move)のような曲が欲しかった…。

2ndまでのファンには賛否両論のようですが、Rooftops目当てで、フーバスタンク、リンキンとかのキャッチーかつライトヘビー（＝メインストリームなヘビー）な演奏が好きな人には合うのではないでしょうか。
リフ好きには２、８曲目、モッシュ系には７、１０がお勧めです。

自分なりに2ndとの違いを言うと（サマソニに備え2ndも買いました）
1.ドラムが違う（ドラマーが脱退し、重い音（スラッシュ系）になった．２．一番大きい点はメンバーの希望でプロデューサーにボブ・ロック（メタリカで有名な売れっ子）の起用。ということで2ndまでと比べるとボブロック印が押された音に変わっています。

私的には彼ら一段の飛躍、いいなればメインストリームでの成功を考えての変化を3rdで行ったのではないかと思います。2ndも好きですが、単にスタジオの質とかもあるかもしれないけど、3rdの方が音質も良く聞きやすいです。（失礼）
彼らとしてもマスでの成功を狙った意欲作なのではないかと思います。
