Shihoちゃんと横田さんに心底惚れてしまっていて、
衝動買いしないように気をつけてはいるのですが
ジャケットの視線に魅了されました。
それに加え好きな曲ばかりだったので、これは外せない、と。

実際すべて聴いてみて、本当にハズレがないです。
というか今までにもハズレなんて無かったのですが

じっくりと聴かせるもの、熱く深く刺さるもの。
個人的にNightbirdsのラスト近くは鳥肌ものでした。

フラプラさん、どこまでもやってくれます。

素晴らしい出来。

ゲストのPerの絞まったサウンドも手を替え、品を替え色を添え、より一層魅力的に盛り上げるが、ディープで類まれな説得力のあるＳＨＩＨＯのＶｏｃａｌがあってこそ。

唄声を中心に様々なジャンルの曲や、歌詞や、アレンジが広がっていく。セクシーだったりピュアだったり。

これ一枚でJAZZもPOPも歌謡曲もFOLKも飲み込んだまさに”FRIED PRIDE”だけが出来る音楽があると思う。

今までのアルバムに比べ、妙な力の入れ具合も無く聞きやすい。Jazzなんていうと、気取った奴が聴くものだ！なんて思ってる人にも是非聞いて貰いたい。

VoのShihoのキュートなポートレイトに思わずジャケ買いしてしまいましたが、
そのルックスとはかなりイメージの異なるパワフルな歌声です。
（ジャケからは舌足らずのフレンチポップ系かと思ってしまいました）

ジャズというより、アコギとのデュオであることとその情熱的な歌声からフラメンコに近いです。
「君の瞳に恋してる」はオリジナル（フランキー・ヴァリ）風ではなく、
８２年のBOYS TOWN GANGものが下敷きになっていますが、
とにかくパンチのあるサビに圧倒されます。
「接吻」はオリジナルよりもさらに静かなバラード、
「Nightbirds」はテーマをスキャットにしてノリよりもじっくり聞かせる仕上がりです。

とにかく一度聴いたら忘れられない歌声と
パコ・デ・ルシア（！）ばりのギターテクニックに酔いしれてください。
