デニチェンとマイキーのおなじみな相乗ヒートアップのライブが見たくて購入しました。
思惑通り、ナイスな演奏でした。
サックスは、どうしてもメランコリックに吼える故ボブ・バーグが素晴らしすぎたため、
フランセシーニのアウト多用気味のフレーズが歯がゆいです。
そしてなにより、ボナはすごい！
ソロそこ少なめなものの、
5弦ベースを駆使して、ダブルストップ・スラップ等いろんなアプローチを披露してくれてます。
彼のすごさは、ひけらかす風でもなく、もうそう弾くのが当たり前のようにそういった超人プレイをさらっとやってのけるとこかなと思いました。

オマケでマイキーのインタビュー映像みたいなのがついてて、それもけっこう楽しめました。

はっきり言ってリズム隊が上手すぎてマイク・スターンのお株をモロに奪ってます。マイクはらしいソロを弾いてますがパッとしませんし、あまり面白味がないです。サックスも微妙。むしろボナやデニチェンの為にこのDVDを買った方がいいのではないでしょうか？かく言う僕もボナ目当てで買いました。しかしボナのソロも少し短くて少ない気がします。が、バッキングでもとても気持ちいいベースを弾いてくれてボナ節炸裂です。動くボナを見た事がない人やベーシストを目指す人には是非とも見て欲しいです。
あとデニチェンがソロタイムでデスメタルでお馴染みのブラストビートしてたのには笑いましたｗ

マイクスターン名義の音源は初めて買ったのですが、最高のリズム体に乗っかってバリバリですね。 ただ非常に気になったのはギターのコントロールノブを回す時の「ガリガリ」というノイズはいくらなんでもオーディエンスに失礼だと思いました。次からはちゃんとKURE55を差してきて欲しい。
