スリリングでミステリアスでセクシーで
いかにも危険すぎるって曲だ。
ベンジー特有の映画を観てるような感覚になる映像的なリリックで
まるで目の前で事がおこってるように鮮明に想像、空想、妄想、夢想できるよ。

「テレビつけリモコンのボタンは、ほとんど全部ない」・・・危険すぎるよｗ

ってそこじゃなくて

「ベッドから落ちるぜ、さらわれちゃうよ」・・・この歌詞、あの声で歌われたあとの
ギターソロへのスリリングな展開は背筋ゾクゾクものだよ。

大人の色気を感じるセクシーでジャジーでパンクなロックンロールチューンです。
今までのユダ、シャーベッツと違ってメジャーレーベルからのリリースということもあるのか、わりとキャッチーなメロディーラインという気がします。
正直ブランキー・ジェット・シティ解散後の浅井健一の作品には、リリースの多さのせいもありますが、各楽曲の出来・不出来にかなりムラがあるように感じていましたが、今作はかなりいいです。
コーラスに椎名林檎が参加していたり、カップリングにボーダフォンのCMに使われたデヴィッド・ボウイのカヴァー曲が入っていたりと、今まで浅井健一について知らなかった人にも聴きやすい内容です。
またコアなファンにとっては、３曲目のようなシャーベッツ的な美しい世界観がよく出ているインストが入っているのもうれしいです。
ロックファンならチェックしておくべき１枚です。

BJC、シャーベッツ、JUDE、とバンドによって全然違う音を届けてきたベンジー。
今回のソロCDは、どのバンドでも聞けなかったであろうベンジー自身の「音」がありました。
一曲目は、豪華キャストを裏切らないロック。二曲目は、誰もが聞いたことのある曲のカバー。三曲目は、透き通った感じのするインストゥルメンタルです。
一枚のCDで、とても深い味わいのあるものになっていました。

BJC、シャーベッツ、JUDE。全部のバンドが好きな人も、1つしか好きでない人も、満足のいく作品だと面白います。
ベンジーの世界観に浸りたい方には、ぴったりのCDだと面白います。
