音源が全て古い。悪い意味で言っているのではない。音源が古いスイング・ジャズの名曲ばかり集めようとしても大変だ。それがこのコンピレ盤で一挙に手に入る。快挙である。（松本敏之）

ジャズという音楽に興味はあったものの
今まで聴いたことがありませんでした。

どれから聴いたらいいか分からなかったし、
全く知識が無いものですから・・・・・・

そんなとき、このＣＤに出会いました。
有名どころを集めてくれているので大変楽しみです。

40年前にＴＶの洋画劇場で「5つの銅貨」や「グレンミラー物語」「ドーシー兄弟物語」等をみて、スウイングジャズが明るくて大好きで、ずっと疲れたときや悲しいときは一人で聞いていました。
音楽には詳しくないのでスーパーや本屋さんで500円で売っているグレンミラーベスト、ベニーグットマンベストを買っていましたが、それが100曲入って3000円ならばipodに入れてずっと流せると思ったのですが・・・・
半分は私が思っているスイングではありませんでした、マンボやピンクパンサーみたいな映画音楽がスイングだったとは。古いジャズはジャスコや夢タウンで500円ＣＤで十分のようです。
