他のHDDケースのように、
「買って、HDDを入れて、USBでつなぐだけ」
では、うまく動きませんでした。
「使用しない時は、スタンバイに自動で入り、HDDが停止。
次にアクセスがあるとスタンバイが解除」という仕様なのですが、
解除に時間がかかったり、いきなりHDDの内容が読めなくなったりと、
トラブルが続出しました。
掲示板で
「センチュリー公式ページにあるユーテリティの
<スタンバイ機能の設定>を使うといい」
とのアドバイスを見つけて、実行したところ、
HDDは常時駆動になってしまいましたが、すべて改善しました。
低価格で、HDDが8台内蔵可能と大変魅力的なので、
いろいろあっても、やはりお勧めします。

○良い

ＨＤＤがたくさん入る
ＵＳＢなのでノートもＯＫ
コンパクト
電源内蔵
ＳＡＴＡも別売基盤にて対応

Ｘ悪い

７台しか個別認識しないときがある。
ＵＳＢなので転送速度がおそすぎる。（数十メガ以上の場合）
ケースが小さいので、ＨＤＤ配線がイマイチ（フラットケーブル）
青く光るファンがウザイ
