中国風の架空の国・彩雲国を舞台に繰り広げられるファンタスティックな宮廷浪漫TVアニメ・シリーズのDVD第9弾。第25話「他人のそら似」第26話「闇夜の烏」第27話「花は折りたし梢は高し」の3話収録。金華の街でようやく再会を果たす秀麗（桑島法子）たち。しかし、そこで明らかになるのは淋千夜（子安武人）の正体で、意外というか案の定というか美しくも冷酷無比なその貫禄によって、第26話は今までになかったダークなテンションで観る者を闇の魅力へと引き込んでくれるが、秀麗もまた彼のその闇の部分に惹かれていっているようでもあり、髪型も彼が好んだもののまま、元に直そうとはしない。しかも過去の恨みも含めて千夜に憤った青蘭（緑川光）は、第27話のラストでついに秀麗に告白！ しかしそれはロマンティックなものではなく、嫉妬の炎に燃え狂ったかのようなものであり、まったく彼らしくない。どんどん我を見失っていくかのような青蘭が元に戻ってくれることを祈りつつ、次巻、いよいよ一行は茶州の州都へ。影月（浪川大輔）と香鈴（仙台エリ）の微妙な仲が、ほっと一息させてくれるのが救いであった。（増當竜也）
