　私生活、撮影現場などが入り乱れる構成にジェフリー・ラッシュがピーター・セラーズのみならず、セラーズの両親なども演じてしまうので、少し話がわかりにくくなっています。セラーズの人間像も好色、マザコン、わがまま、自意識過剰とスターにはありふれたキャラクターのように思う。しかし、そんなことは問題ではなく、ジェフリー・ラッシュのそっくり演技がとにかく凄い。「博士の異常な愛情」でストレンジラブ博士を演じるピーター・セラーズを演じるところとか、ピーター・セラーズがカメレオン俳優のようにいろいろな役を演じるのを、ジェフリー・ラッシュが、その上を行く演技力で演じてしまいます。見終わった後はピーター・セラーズの愛し方がどうだったかはあまり記憶に残りませんが、ジェフリー・ラッシュの演じ方は強烈に印象に残った。「ミュンヘン」と「パイレーツ・オブ・カビリアン」だってぜんぜん違う役柄ですから、この人本当に凄い俳優です。

あんまり期待しないで鑑賞したのですが、これは、演出も
役者も、材料も一級品の秀作でした。あたり。

ピーター・セラーズは、映画のスクリーン上での人となり
しか当然知りませんでした。コメディアンとして。

でも、彼の人生、恋愛、最後はこんな風だったのですね。
この映画の中に、ピーター・セラーズの代表作を持ち込み、
重ねた斬新な演出。さらに、映画製作舞台裏風な見せ方で、
ジェフリー・ラッシュが、登場人物を扮し分ける、その才能と、
セラーズの才能の重ね合わせ。監督の演出が絶妙です。

ではありますけど、なんと言っても、ジェフリー・ラッシュの
「劇似」と言える、その役作りと、凝り性は、まさに神業です。

彼のそっくり度をご堪能あれ！

「博士の異常な愛情」で映画史に残る名キャラクター「ストレンジラブ博士」を演じた
ピーターセラーズの半生を描いた映画です　最初の好きな人が出来たことを妻に相談する
ことがすごいですね　ビックリしました普通出来ないですよね　更に母が死んで泣いたのが
演技で妻に暴力を振るう所も「このサイテー男」と呼びたかった人も居るはずです。
でも「自分｣を持っていなくて　常に誰かを演じるようにして生きている。
この男もかわいそうな人なんですね　やがて老人になって「孤独」を知るようになりますが
男の悲しい生き様　それが見られる映画です。
