分厚く何重にも重ねられたサウンドが、ゆったりしたグルーヴと共に大きく揺れる中、
つぶやくようなヴォーカルがミスマッチとも言えるような明るいメロディを奏でます｡
全体的なイメージがどんよりとしていて、非常に密度が高いためか
あまり明るい印象はありませんが、本来の曲の構造は明るいと言って良いような気がします｡

マイブラ、コデインなどが表現していた空間を、
また違う角度から表現したような感じといえば良いのでしょうか。
虚無感や不安感をそのまま形にすることによって、
むしろその感覚を元々持っている人にとっては
身近で安心できるような印象を受ける内容になっていると思います｡

僕自身はこのバンドをこの作品で初めて知ったので、
バンド単位としての評価は出し切れないところなのですが、
非常に良質なユニットであることは間違いないと思います｡
この後、他の作品も聴いてみます｡

元NAPALM DEATH， GODFLESH， TECHNO ANIMAL， FINAL etc etcの天才JK BROADRICK先生率いる重低音陰湿ポストロックバンド！
元NAPALM DEATHを期待して聴くと痛い目にあう(？)様な泣きの爆音ギター。
GODFLESH、マイブラ好きは死ねます。(笑)

オフィシャルサイトでdead eyeを試聴してから、あまりの美しさに驚愕し、発売を心待ちにしていた。目を閉じて聞けば、差し込んできた光に吸い込まれて、自分も光になるような気持ちになる。この曲でjesuは、さらに“上”へ歩を進めたと思う。
