レトロ曲を現代に復興した感じです
とても斬新に聞こえてきます。
力が抜けているところも、あくせくした現代社会で暮らす日常に安らぎをそっと与えてくれます。
体内のリズムを、整えてくれるようにおじさんとしての私は感じました。大変ありがたい。
アメリカでの活動、富士ロックフェスティバルの出場
これからの活躍が非常に期待される「うめ吉」でした。

　江戸時代にもあったと知らしめてくれてくれる一枚です。
　だいたい、ジャズとかロックといっても、もともとは民族のリズムです。

　江戸時代から明治にかけて、日本の音曲にもリズムがありました。思い出の
　メロディーって言いきってしまうのは、当時のリズムを我々が忘れかけて
　いるからでないでしょうか！

　たとえば「茄子南瓜（なすかぼ）」これは１０ですが、明治期に「薩・長」
　が江戸に来た時、　江戸の姐さんたちが、色の黒い薩摩と話のわからぬ長州
　とそして、金と力のない色白な粋な夕顔（江戸っ子）を出した「プロテスト
　・ソング」だと、私は考えています。

お座敷ロックを　初めて聴いたのは　ユ−チュ−ブです
三味線演奏なのにジャズと同調させたのは　面白いアイデアです
元歌は　五月みどり　う-んもうテレビには出てこないけれど若い時に
こんな歌を歌っていたとは知りませんでした　この曲はグ−です
他の曲も　面白おかしく演奏して　あまりうまい歌い手ではないが　古い歌をうまく
あしらって
それが新鮮に聞こえてしまった
