液晶かプラズマかかなり迷いましたが、プラズマを買って正解でした。
ビクターが開発した動きに強いという倍コマの液晶も、フルHDのプラズマの前にはやはり褪せてみえます。残像に対する技術はビクターが先んじてたんだそうです。液晶ならシャープの亀山モデルかもしれませんが、色のメリハリはやはり亀山モデルに一日の長がある。パイオニアのプラズマに近いものがあります。
プラズマに比べて液晶は消費電力が少ないといいますが、そこはプラズマの先駆者であるパイオニア。５０V型クラスになると液晶とも遜色ない低消費です。アクオスの６５V型の消費電力は５００Wなのに対し本製品は４１０Wと省力型。パイオニアの６０V型でも４６８Wです。
しかも液晶は常時その電力を必要としますが、プラズマは画像の明暗によって消費電力が上がったり下がったりしますから低消費で済むことも多いのではないでしょうか？
低電力型にこだわる理由は、壁掛けにした時とかいままでのブラウン管TVより壁に近づけて置くわけですから、当然壁への影響が考えられるわけです。例えば５００Wクラスの発熱量といったら「電気こたつ」が考えられますが、壁に対してこの発熱量が一定時間かかるわけですから、内壁に悪影響がないはずはありません。急激な内壁の温度変化は最悪は内壁内における結露ということも考えられるわけです。５０V型以上になるとそういうことも考慮して選択すべきです。
結論。やっぱりパイオニアのフルHDプラズマです。
