ストーリーもすばらしいが、何よりも「編集」の技術がすばらしい。
まったく無駄なシーンが無く、非常にテンポよくストーリーが展開していく。
今ほどCG技術が発達していなかった当時にあって、
１コマ１コマ撮影していた特殊撮影にも関心させられる。

ラストの方で廃液浴びてトロトロになるお兄さんが好きです。

4.0 out of 5 stars 敵のロボ、ＥＤ−２０９が好きです, 2006/8/30
ポール・バーホーベンによるＳＦヒーローアクション映画で、低予算ながらも大ヒットした作品です。面白い作品ではあるものの、目を背けたくなる程、残酷なシーンがあるので観るとしたらある程度、覚悟が必要です。この頃はまだＣＧもそんなに発達しておらず、敵ロボのＥＤ−２０９がストップモーション・アニメで撮影されているのが、今の映画とは違って温かみ、手作り感があっていいです。(アニメーターは、レイ・ハリーハウゼンの後輩、フィル・ティペットでしたね)余談ですが、僕は主役のロボコップよりはＥＤ−２０９の方が好きだったりします。

思う事あって本作品を購入、久しぶりに見ましたがこれはいつみても痛快なお話ですね。
カートウッド・スミスの小面憎いクラレンス役がたまらない出来です。

これ公開当時石森章太郎さんのロボット刑事Kとか平井和正さんのサイボーグブルース
からパクったとか、邦画界は何やってるんだとか一部で意見出た事ありましたが
例えいい題材あっても邦画にこういう切り口の映画は撮れないですよ。

特撮が少ーし古くさいですが、そういうの気にならないなら気楽に見られる快作です。
