とあるコラムでの評を見て良さげなので買ってしまったが、
DSやPSPを使ったことがない人が書いた評だったのだろうかと思う。
タッチペンというが３択４択あるいは文字を選んで「タッチ」するだけなので、
文字入力による認識の悪さというものはないものの、
それだけならタッチペンにする意味がないと思う。
まず第一に液晶画面暗くて見えにく過ぎ。
さらには出題の度に「OK」をタッチして答えの画面に進まなくてはならない面倒さ。
しかも問題を読み損ねてうっかりOKをタッチしてしまうと、
「戻る」という選択肢がないので
わけわからないまま答えを適当に選んで次に進むしかない。
もしここで「CANCEL」をタッチすると、
途中までやった問題も消えて、メニュー画面に戻ってしまうのだ。
問題も繰り返しランダムに出題、とあるが、
違うレベルなのに低いレベルの問題が出たりして、
繰り返しとランダムの仕方に問題あり。
問題自体はまあそれなりかと思う部分もあるものの、
液晶画面の明暗設定と、「戻る」の設定は最低必要条件でしょう！

全体的に、ハードの制約によると思われる不満がある。液晶のコントラストが弱い、タッチパネルはタッチを正確に捉えてくれない、ドット数が少なく見にくいなどである。また、液晶のドット数が少ないので表示される文字数が少ない。スクロールもしにくい。また、全体的に説明が少ない。人名地名の読み方には説明がない。外来語の説明に至っては一面的で正しいか否か疑問が生じるものがある。
よって、単独では知的好奇心を満たしてくれない。電子辞書が傍らに必要かもしれない。コンセプトはよいと思うし、以上の不満にもかかわらず、購入後毎日使用している。「クラスアップモード」は熱中してしまう。ただ、ハードの貧弱さからくる問題が大きすぎる。以上のようなソフト面の問題を解決し、充実させた形でNintendo DSのソフトにしてほしい。要領や操作性の問題が解決されるだろう。

発見した間違いを一つ。抱腹絶倒と答えさせる問題で、抱"服"絶倒しか選択できない。そして、抱"服"絶倒で正解のようだ。ただし、正答の表示では正しく抱腹絶倒となっている。
