「惑星タイマー」はオフィスオーガスタ所属アーティストが主演する夏の恒例イベント
『オーガスタキャンプ』のオフィシャルテーマソング。どこか懐かしいような爽やかで心地よいサウンドです。
ユニットとしての活動は'０３の「Ｓｕｍｍｅｒ　Ｏｆ　Ｌｏｖｅ」以来約３年ぶり。
作詞・作曲・プロデュースをスキマスイッチが担当しており、参加アーティストは杏子、山崎まさよし
スガシカオ、Coil、元ちとせ、スキマスイッチ、あらきゆうこ（ｍｉ-ｇｕ）と豪華です。

カップリングの「セロリ」「星のかけらを探しにいこう」は言うまでもなく名曲ですし
（個人的には「星のかけらを…」が歌詞も含めて大好き）
ＤＶＤでは惑星タイマーのメイキング映像を見る事ができ、充実の内容だと思います。

日曜劇場の主題歌で毎週聴いていたのですが素敵な曲だなあと思ってました。なんかスピッツの草野正宗氏のテイストを感じていたらこの曲はスキマスイッチプロデュースだそうでなるほどなるほどなるほど、と唸りました。
　杏子のボーカルってなんかクセがあり過ぎで今まではイマイチなじめなかったのですがこの曲ではハマリにハマっていて妙に気持ちいいです。歌い出しではスキマスイッチの爽やかさ、二番では杏子のソロの色っぽさを堪能できてまさに一曲で二度おいしい感がたまりません。

日曜劇場でこの曲を聞いてからすっかり福耳ファンになってしまいました。
ミュージックステーションで聞いてから思わず夜9時から自転車で買いに行きました。
大橋さんの爽やかで聞いてても疲れない歌声と杏子さんのハスキーで色っぽい歌声は何度聞いても最高です。
カップリングはライブバージョンのセロリと星のかけらを探しに行こう Againと、とても充実しています。セロリの常田さんのソロは思わずちょっと笑ってしまいました。
当たり前ですけど皆さん歌上手いですね。
