5.0 out of 5 stars 情緒溢れる日本のエモいロック, 2006/7/17
nature living、約８年間（？）の活動の集大成にして最高傑作ここに誕生。
・・・てな陳腐な表現もぴたりとはまる文句無しのグッドアルバムです。

とにかくクオリティが半端無く高いですね。
正直、前の２枚のＥＰは音質的にも表現的にも限界がみえて、
バンドとしては素晴らしい事をやっているのは判るんだけど今ひとつ印象に欠ける感じがあったんですよ。
でもその後のデモやFACTとのスプリット・アルバム、US盤再録なんかではキーボードが加入したお陰で少しずつ楽曲のアプローチにも豊かな表情が現れてきて今まで平坦だった所謂”エモ繋がり”な曲展開にもより一層の独自性と広がり、完成のカタチを見せ始めていました。
「nature livingは事実、成長しているバンドだ」
という今更なこの感慨をアルバムを聴き終えたときに感じさせるのはそういう確実なステップ･アップがこの12曲に十分と凝縮されているからではないでしょうか?

作品を通して彼らの持ち味である哀愁漂うメロディと感情を煽るセンセーショナルなギターの絡みが独自の世界観を演出していますが、
中にはM-1,やM-7やM-8のような打ち込みやストリングスを前に持ってきた今までに無い展開を見せる楽曲も所々で顔を出したり、ファルセットやアンサンブルを大胆に使うなど演唱面でも新しい工夫をみせてくれます。

中でも筆頭すべきはM-5のAnode Rayという曲。
ストリングスの静かな旋律から幕を開けるこの曲は
じわじわと沸き立つ嘆願の感情が壮絶なリフと交わり
一瞬止まった時間を見せてくれます。
なんかTHURSDAYのStanding On The Edge Of Summerを彷彿とさせられましたー。
M-12の再レコ版 Farside Of The Sunもかなりアルバム風に録られてて全体的によい感じでまとまってます。

FACT同じく、日本が世界に誇れるエモーショナル･ロック・バンドだと僕は思います。
今度は世界が日本に向く番だ!!

聴くにつれて一つの物語を読んでいるかのように感じる。
一曲一曲が壮大で優雅で感情的である。このアルバムの世界観にただ涙が出てしまう。
本当に素晴らしい一枚だと思いつつ、また涙。
