ボノボのアルバムはメジャーで3枚出ているが、どれも素晴らしい。蔡 忠浩(サイチュンホ)くんのハイトーンで力みのない歌声が既に気持ちいいのに、バックの音も透明感があって清清しい。若葉の馨りを彷彿とさせる。とても感じのいい人たちなんだろうなという想像が浮かぶ。
結構エレクトリカルＦＵＮＫのような音作りなはずなのに、アコギを前面に出しているところや、メロ自体の問題なのだろうかとっても浮遊感があって癒される。ロック、ポップス、ブラジリアン、ダブ、レゲエ、ＦＵＮＫ、ジャズ、ハワイアン、、色々な要素が見え隠れするが、それら雑多なジャンルをひとつにまとめているのはやはり蔡くんのボーカルだ。初期のピチカートファイブだったりラウンドテーブルだったり渋谷系だったりまったりダブだったり好きな人には絶対いけると思う、というかそういう人はほぼ知っているはず。かわいいくせに心を凛とさせてくれる一枚。

ｂｏｎｏｂｏｓはすごく良い感じで進化していってるバンドだと感じました♪
毎回どんな変化があるか楽しみです。
