死んだ者を生き返らせる！フランケンシュタイン男爵の手腕で、新しく誕生した生き物は、「怪物」と言われ迫害された。自分を迫害する者たちに立ち向かい、結果は迫害者の被害増大。ゆえに、「怪物」を迫害者は殺したはず。これが第一作。しかし、死んだはずの怪物は生きていたのだ。不死身の生き物。彼は彼を認める者を愛する。優しい。赤ちゃんなのだ。第2作目、この作品では、フランケンシュタインの育っていく姿が描かれている。盲目の孤独な老人との出会いは感動的である。この老人こそサリバン先生役。フランケンシュタインの妻を作る計画を抱いた奇人がいる。拒否できず、男爵は死んだ女性を生き返らせる。しかし、生き返らされた女性はフランケンシュタインを観て驚き叫ぶ。孤独なフランケンシュタインはどうするのか。よみがえらせられた男と女は死なずに、ひっそりと生き続けているのだと信じたい。今も。とにかく、びっくりする映画。1935年の作品。

映画（フランケンシュタイン）で主役を演じ、絶大なる人気を獲得した俳優、ボリス　カーロフはその後も様々な作品で同じフランケンシュタインを演じたが、これが最後だと断言をし、最後のフランケンシュタイン役を演じたのがこの作品（フランケンシュタインの花嫁）でした、Ｂ級ホラームービーなどといあれていますが、脚本も作品自体もなかなかのものです、同じ死体から作られた彼の花嫁は彼を見ると悲鳴をあげ、彼を拒絶、彼は絶望をしますが、その描写が面白く素晴らしい、こうした映画が好きな方にはたまらなく面白い作品ではないでしょうか、お勧めです。

5.0 out of 5 stars カーロフモンスター再び！, 2006/8/30
正直言うと前作よりもこの続編の方が面白いです。テンポがよく前作と違って退屈ではありません。またエルザー・ランチェスターが原作者のメアリー・シェリーと人造花嫁の一人二役をしているのも面白いです。前作同様、原作に近くファンならきっと楽しめると思います。
