前半はロックナンバー、後半はインストゥルメンタルで構成されたサントラです。
映画のサントラとしては非常に聞きやすく、長く楽しめると思います。

前半はアメリカっぽい雰囲気全開で、聞いててとてもハッピーな気分になれます。
アメリカの荒野を走る真っ直ぐな道をかっ飛びたくなる・・・ような曲ばかり！ドライブに最高の選曲です。
1曲目のReal goneはシェリル・クロウらしい格好良さ。彼女の可愛らしいのにパワフルな声が活きています。
チャック・ベリーの隠れた名曲Route 66は、オリジナル版とカバーバージョンが併せて収録されています。
3曲目はトム・コクランの名曲Life Is a Highwayのカバー曲。これもノリノリで超格好いいです！
その他にもバラードやオールディーズっぽい曲などが収められていて飽きさせません。

後半の歌無し部分は、映画を見た人なら「あっ、あのシーンの曲だ」なんていう楽しみ方ができますね。
映画音楽というと好きな映画でもちょっと手を出しづらい気もしますが、このサントラは2部構成になっているおかげで取っ付きやすいと思います。

映画を見た方には超おすすめですし、これからDVDで見るという人はこのサントラも併せて是非！

試写会見ました。
ＢＧＭがすごい映画に合っていて、よりいっそうおもしろく感じました。
ハエも車だったりして，本当に車の世界に行ったようでした。
ＣＧもすごかったので，迫力がありました。
この映画をみたら，あのＢＧＭは何なんだろう？と思って，ＣＤがほしくなります！
本当に歌が映画に合っていて，最高でした！

初めてピクサー映画を見た夫（３４歳）が、映画視聴後にサントラ盤を即購入しました。「オープニングの曲が鳥肌が立つほど気に入った」と言っていました。

映画冒頭でかかる１の "Real Gone" は、映像の美しさ・スピード感を更に増幅させる曲でした。大のお気に入りです。
３の "Life Is a Highway" も、すごく素敵です。

私はピクサー映画を全て映画館で見てきました。新しい映画が出るたびに、その映像技術と脚本の質の高さに驚かされてきました。
「カーズ」は加えて曲も素晴らしく、本当に心地の良い映画でした。

「カーズ」のサントラ盤は、さすがにと言いますか、ドライブにピッタリな曲が多いですね。
時にはスピード感あふれ、また、時にはのんびりと。飽きのこないＣＤです。
