角川スニーカー文庫刊･谷川 流原作/いとうのいぢ原作イラスト
『涼宮ハルヒの憂鬱』TVアニメ第9〜10話を収録したDVDです｡
原作第3巻｢涼宮ハルヒの退屈｣に収録された短編をアニメ化しています｡
7月下旬の夏休み開始直後が舞台｡アニメ版ではこの後､
秋の文化祭直前､第11話｢朝比奈ミクルの冒険Episode:00｣に続きます｡

第9話｢孤島症候群(前編)｣(TV放送第6回)
　夏とバカンスの楽しげな雰囲気が上手く描写されているのが心地良いですね｡
普段見れない私服姿で､夏を満喫する細かいシーンの連続が凝縮されています｡
　嵐に見舞われた館で､突然の事件に巻き込まれる急展開に驚きます｡
　しかしトリックのキーとなるネタ振りがすでに冒頭から始まっている構成力の高さも窺えますので､
　初視聴の方は事件を自力看破してみるのもいいかもしれません｡　

第10話｢孤島症候群(後編)(TV放送第8回)
　ありえない密室殺人事件に推理や憶測で翻弄される本格ミステリーに仕上がっています｡
　彼女の願望が具現化したのか､不審な周囲の人物関係にも謎が深まり息を呑みます｡
　最後のネタばらしもしっかりされており､きちんを物語を完結させた清々しさも高く評価したい点です｡
　CAPCOMのゲーム｢逆転裁判｣を彷彿させる事件解決のシーンも爽快感に溢れています｡
　ただし､第1〜6話を観ていないと楽しさ半減､わからない点も多々あるので要注意｡
今後の展望を予感させるような不可解さも含んでいるのが気になりますね｡
　　
映像特典はTV版予告､ねこマン展とサイン会イベントで待機する平野綾､茅原実里中心の模様を収録｡
原作者･谷川流とイラスト担当･いとうのいぢも登場するので
二人の姿を知らないファンは必見ですね｡その4人でサインのやりとりしたり､
イベント開始直後にハルヒ､長門として2人が乱入するサプライズイベントの盛況ぶりが見物です｡
これまでのDVDシリーズの映像特典としては一番希少価値が高い仕上がりです｡

アニメ第６話『孤島症候群（前編）』と第８話『孤島症候群（後編）』を収録したDVDです。
この話は、名探偵(?)の名推理と様々なパロディが見所です。

　「名探偵コナン」のパロディ風に展開する、密室殺人ミステリー。超人揃いのSOS団が丹念に謎解きを行う設定も少し無理があるが、肝心の謎解きが、かなり話の初期にオチが分かってしまうのが残念。

　まあ、本来のSF的設定を外れた、こういう回があっても良いだろうとは思う。
