序盤の頃戦闘がだめだっと、おもったんですが４章辺りから話が盛り上がっていき爪術の技も少しずつ派手になり、いつのまにかハマってました。
たしかに戦闘がイマイチだったんですが、キャラにすごく魅力があり、話がよくて結局終わった頃には「おもしろかった」でした。
メインストーリを終え、キャラクエウィル編をクリアした時に、「これは、、全キャラ見たい」と、思いました。全クリアして特によかったのは、ウィル編とノーマ編。泣いちゃいました。（特にウィル編）
そして、グリューネの正体が知りたくて、がんばってクリアした頃にはプレイ時間が９０時間。
戦闘がイマイチなのにも関わらず、キャラと話の良さでここまで楽しめました。
レジェンディアは、メインキャラ以外にサブキャラも魅力があります。
（フェロボン、ハリエット、ミミー等）
ストーリ重視の方に、特にオススメ。

キャラクターが個性豊かで魅力的です。
今までＲＰＧでここまで沢山のキャラクターを好きになった
ことってなかったかもしれません。
シナリオも多少う〜んと思う部分はあるのですが、
総合的には感動できますし、小ネタなんかは
キャラの個性も手伝って楽しめます。

戦闘に関しては、システム性に拘る人には、
単調だしＡＩもバカなので(笑)楽しめないと思います。
私は、戦闘は分かりやすければ良いと思ってる程度なので
別に気になりませんでしたが･･･。

テイルズらしくない事が気になる人は、
テイルズじゃないと割りきってしまうば良いかと。

ヒロイン以外のキャラがとても良いと思います。
確かに、今までにないようなギャグっぽい部分も沢山ありましたし、戦闘は単調でAlもお馬鹿です。スキットも少ないし。
私も最初は駄作だと聞いていてプレイするのを躊躇いましたから(笑)
キャラを好きになれなかった場合はキャラクエも苦痛なはず。
ですが、ヒロイン以外のキャラが大好きな私としては、世間で良作とされているSやAよりも好きです。
勿論SもAもセーブデータを大量に作ってしまうぐらい好きですが。
ストーリー中のギャグは嫌われがちのようですが、その明るい雰囲気のおかげで逆に私は安心してプレイ出来ました。
仲間同士が仲良しなのも良かったし、EDもすっきりしてて良かったと思います。
AのEDのようなもやもや感はありませんでした。
…‥長々書きましたが、つまり言いたいのは、駄作がどうかは自分の目で見て決めるべきであり、ただ言葉に振り回されてやらないというのはもったいないってことです。
