２つの才能が合体して輝いた名作。現在この作品に陽があたっていないことがとても疑問である。８０年代に別方向でブレークしてしまったケニー・ロギンズの真の姿がここに記録されている。また、ジム・メッシーナのこれぞテレキャスターと言うべき魅力的なギターサウンドやプロデューサーとしての力量の確かさ、そして２人の粒ぞろいの作品が絶妙にブレンドされた見事なアルバム。８０年代以降の彼等の活動しか知らない人達に是非聴いていただきたい。

デビュー作は、ロギンズのソロプロジェクトが発展した形のため、ソングライティングはほぼ均等ながら、全体のコンビネーションという意味では少し不満な点がありましたが、今作では見事なバランスが保たれています。ヒット作3での2人のハーモニーはすごいの一言。これこそロギンズ＆メッシーナの出発点と断言できる出来です。その他では、その後ステージでのハイライト曲となる11。2人の共作となるこの作品は、演奏面ではジム・メッシーナがイニシアティブを取っていますが、逆にボーカル面では常にケニー・ロギンズがメインになるように作られています。その後は様々な実験的な試みをアルバムの中でもステージでも展開してゆく彼らですが、このアルバムはその出発点であるとともに、両者のバランスをお互いに配慮しあった（遠慮しあったわけでは決してなく、非常に高いレベルでまとまった）唯一の完成品と呼べるアルバムかと思います。
