時期としては大ヒットしたエルトン・ジョンとのデュエット「恋のデュエット」の前になるCD。どうもオクラ入りしたものを引っ張り出してきたみたいである。ベストと銘打ってはいるものの、既出曲は３曲で「chicago」「first thing in the morning」「once a fool」うち前２曲は「kiki dee」に編曲を変えて入っている。全11曲。編曲も彼女のCDの中では軽めで、なるべくキャッチーな作りにしましょうという雰囲気が伝わってくる好盤。ではあるのだが。選曲が相変わらず地味で、目を引く曲がない。もう少し華やかな曲をめいっぱい華やかに歌ってもらいたい。優れた歌唱力があってもこれでは新しいファン獲得にはとっかりがなくて困るんじゃないか。これは古くからのファンの切なる願いなのであります。
