Album Details

Japanese pressing of this singer/songwriter's debut album following the critically acclaimed single release, "Home." This album includes the Final Fantasy XII theme song, 'Kiss Me Good-Bye' s well as the Japanimation "Blood+" ending theme song, 'This Love', both previously released as a single. Her piano performance and eclectic style of Pop, Rock, and Ballad is all represented in this compilation and her undeniable talent is taken all throughout. Her strong, yet gentle vocal and perfect sound creation promises her the position of next star status in Japan.

彼女の歌をはじめて聴いたときの衝撃。今でも忘れることが出来ません。
のびやかで、澄んでいて、それでいて何かを訴えかけるように響く歌声。
あまり最近の歌手に興味がもてなかった私が一瞬で虜になってしまいました。
★5、それしかありません。

NHKの特番で初めて彼女を知り、音と映像を通じて彼女のライブパフォーマンスの素晴らしさや人柄の良さに惹かれた私は、正直、彼女単独のピアノ弾き語り形式ではなくアレンジが加わっていることには、期待を裏切られるのでは、との不安もありました。実際、最初にこのアルバムを聴いたときは、「HOME」や「Rain」などはどうしても単独ライブパフォーマンスと比較して聴いてしまい、物足りなく感じられました。が、聴き込むほどに、アルバム全体を一貫した優しく温かい雰囲気が包んでいてとても心地良い、と感じるようになりました。永く愛せるアルバムだと思います。

ピアノを主体にしながら見事にヒット性を融合させた
幅広い層にアピールすることの出来る上質のポップス、
などと言葉にして表現するとこんな感じかもしれませんが、
ジャンルがどうこうより聴いてて純粋にいいんです。
歌唱力あるし声も個性があって魅力的、
楽曲もメロディ良しアレンジ良し、さらにしっかり耳に残る
インパクトも持ち合わせていて文句ありません。
何より音楽に真剣に取り組んでいる姿勢が伝わってきて
聴いてて気持ちがいい。
聴くきっかけはテレビで聴いた「This Love」が気にいったからで
つい最近なのですが、以前のシングル曲もいいし、
アルバム曲がシングルの出来に劣るなんてこともなく
最初から最後までいい曲並んでます。
美しく繊細でありながら力強さも持った彼女の歌を
是非聴いてみて下さい。
