現実に「心」を持った人工知能の研究がすすむ中で、人が生み出した「人と異なる」「心を持った存在」と、人はどう一緒に歩んでゆくべきか。その答えの１つがここにある。そしてぶっちゃけ、ＡＩフェチもロリショタも腐女子もメカマニアもカワイイ女の子も、萌えの全てまでここにある！

人間は感情の動物である。
人間は考える葦である。
そして、彼らも人間なのである。
鋼鉄で出来た人間なのである。
彼らをロボットとは、言わせない。
欲望に負けやすい胆略的な人間より、彼らの方が何倍も信念が有る。
仮令体は機械でも、愛する気持ちも友情も、喜びも悲しみも欲望も、全部まとめて人間と変わらないのだ。
燃料をくすねた事も有った。
人をからかった事だってあった。
ストレスだってたまる。
言う事を聞かない事もある。
嘘だってついた事が有る。
すねる事もあるし、ごねる事もある。
だけど、それは、完全な悪も、完全な善もない。
善と悪が表裏一体であるからこそ心なのだ。
人間臭いのではない。
彼らは、鋼鉄で出来た霊長目人科ホモサピエンスなのだ。

エヴァ・フォルツォイクが成し遂げられなかった心を持ったロボットは少年勇太によって生まれた。エヴァは科学者としては優秀だが、彼女には来たるべきロボット時代を支配するという野望があり、ロボットに対する愛情はひとかけらもなかった。反対に勇太はどこにでもいる普通の男の子。でも勇太には優しい心があった。出会ったばかりで感情を持たないデッカードにも、まるで人間の友達のように接する。そして感情が芽生え始めたデッカードが勇太と別れるのが寂しいと口にした時、勇太は「ずーっと一緒にいてあげるからね。壊れちゃダメだよ」とデッカードの為に涙を流す。勇太はデッカードをロボットとしてではなく、大切な友人として見ていたのだ。これは「新しいリーダー」の中でもハッキリと口にしている。この勇太の優しさと愛情がロボットであるデッカードに心が生まれたのだ。まさに愛から生まれる奇跡。エヴァに勇太と同じようにロボットを慈しむ心が少しでもあれば、心を持ったロボットが作れたかもしれない。いずれにしろ、奇跡は愛を持つ者でなくては起こせないと考えさせられた作品でした。勇太、デッカード、心をありがとう・・・
