この人の音を聴くと本当にウマい人だ！といつも思います。
確かに　ジョー　サトリアーニ　その他のインストギタリストの王道な人達に比べると曲のインパクト他には欠けるが、
逆にあらゆるジャンルを飛び越えてしまう器用さはきっと彼がダントツ！
さてこの作品は前作までと比べると若干地味？かもしれませんが
相変わらず彼の余裕に流暢なプレイ？が満載です。
彼の作品は全作オススメですが、
意外なところでサイモン　フィリップスのソロアルバム、
アウト・オブ・ザ・ブルー　というライブアルバムは超オススメですよ。

アンディの音楽には”艶”がある。
テクニカルなギタリストであるということは周知と思うが、この人のセンスはそこで終わらない。
楽曲のバラエティが多彩になるとやれ「散漫」だの「深みがない」とか批評されがちだがさにあらず。
それぞれのジャンルのエッセンスをうまくミックスし、完全に噛み砕いて自分の音楽として形にしてある。
曲調がどうあれ”アンディ節”になっているところがこの人の背骨がしっかりしている証拠である。

どの曲もメロディーを歌わせることを惜しんでいない。
ソロは絶品なのはもちろん全体がほんとうに巧くまとまってます。

ミディアム・テンポのロックチューンが個人的には好きだが、カントリーテイストの曲もイケてる。
もっと表舞台に登場してもらいたい！

　燃え誌の評価はいつもながらわけが分からないな。今回なんかギターのことが分からないって言ってるやつが、ギタリストのインストアルバムの評価をしようってんだからなぁ。？？？　同じスポーツだからってサッカーの解説者がイチローにダメ出しするようなもんだぜ？そうだろ？
　だが、ギターを弾かない人のために今作はアンディ好きのためのアルバムだとは言っておいたほうがいいだろう。一般受け目当てのキャッチーさは極限まで省かれている。
　金儲けのためならもっとポップでハードなものを作ったろう。かといって音楽に対する野心をそれほど感じる作品でもない。加えて、あえてAndy Timmons Bandを名乗っていることから察するに、おそらくは旧友（初期メンバー）に対する面目躍如の意味合いがつよいんだろうが、その点、偶然とはいえ原点回帰の名目に、余分なものが省かれたことが功を奏して、アンディの音を盗みたい、アンディの世界に浸りたいという人間にはたまらないアルバムに仕上がっている。お宝「アンディ・フレーズ」がいっぱいありますぞ。それがなければ趣味音源と言ってもよさそうな力の抜け具合だ。いい感じに自分に酔いしれてそうなところが〇。
