様々な、作家やミュージシャン達の作品が、坂本の独特の声、歌で、新たな雰囲気になった。例えば、「ネバーエンディングストーリー」や、大貫妙子の歌で評判になった、「彼と彼女ののソネット」そして、柴草玲の、「オキナワソバヤのネエサンへ」など、えもいわれぬ坂本美雨の、少しダルな声が新しい世界を作っている。特にアルバムの最後に置かれた「遠くへ行きたい」は、まさに坂本美雨ならではの、見事な味です。コンセプトは、おそらく坂本の声だろう。

新曲も含まれているが、洋・邦の名曲のカバーも数多く収録。彼女の静謐さを感じるような美しいボーカルで表現。オリジナルを忘れてしまうほど、独自の世界を感じさせるものも。それぞれハッキリしたカラーを持つ曲たちが不思議にひとつに調和したアルバムだ。
